Frijoles Rancheros Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. dry pinto beans
salt to taste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
6 strips bacon
1/4 c. onions
1 small jalapeno, diced
Preparation

Wash and soak beans for 45 minutes.
Cook beans for about 1 hour and 35 minutes.
Before beans are ready, fry the strips of bacon until crisp, then in the same bacon pan, add salt and onions and the small jalapeno.
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce; cook for another 5 minutes.
When beans are soft and done, pour the mixture of the pan into the beans.
Cook for 5 minutes. It should be mixed thoroughly.
