Cracklin' Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. cracklins, cut fine
2 Tbsp. bacon fat
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, stirring until well mixed. Add cracklins and pour into a very hot iron skillet which has been well-greased. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
