Banana Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small bananas
    1 large jar maraschino cherries, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In large flat pan, smush bananas into small pieces.
    Add lemon juice and sugar.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Freeze.
    Serve frozen or may thaw for 30 minutes prior to eating.
