Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 onions, thinly sliced
    3 to 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
    1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
Preparation
    Place ground beef in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Salt and pepper ground beef.
    Place a layer of thinly sliced onions over ground beef.
    Place a layer of thinly sliced potatoes over onions. Salt potatoes.
    Alternate layers of onions and potatoes.
    Pour mushroom soup on top.
    Do not add water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours
    or until potatoes are tender.
