Ingredients

1 c. butter, creamed
2 c. brown sugar (add gradually)
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. bread flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine.
Beat mixture until smooth.
Put in buttered bread pans.
Leave in icebox overnight.
Turn from pan and cut loaf lengthwise, then cut in thin slices.
Bake on cookie sheet at 450\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes.
