Great Grandmother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 lb. sugar (clarified)
    1 lb. flour
    9 large eggs
    4 Tbsp. rose water
Preparation
    Beat the butter to a cream.
    Stir in the sugar.
    Add the yolks of the eggs, then the rose water.
    Stir well.
    Add the flour and stir until light.
    Stir in the well beaten egg whites.
    Pour into the pan and bake slowly (300\u00b0) until a light brown (about 2 hours).
