5 c. fresh blackberries
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
pastry for 9-inch pie
1 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Place blackberries in a 9-inch square baking dish.
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt, mixing well.
Sprinkle over blackberries.
Dot with butter.
