Autumn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole hen
    2 qt. water (broth)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 medium onions
    6 carrots, sliced
    3 stalks celery
    1/4 c. dry parsley
    1 bay leaf
    1 (8 oz.) can corn
    1 pkg. frozen limas
Preparation
    Stew and debone chicken.
    Add remaining ingredients to water reserved from stewing chicken.
    Cut chicken into bite-size chunks. Add to soup.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
