Deer Jerky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. deer meat
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1/4 c. salt
    12 to 20 Tbsp. liquid smoke
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Mix ingredients all together.
    Cut meat into thin strips; soak in mixture overnight in refrigerator, covered.
    Put toothpicks through the end of each slice and hang on oven rack.
    Cook at 150\u00b0 for 4 to 7 hours with oven door slightly ajar.
    Bake according to how chewy or crispy you want.
