Pennsylvania Dutch Lettuce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 slices bacon, diced
1 beaten egg
1/4 c. minced onions (green onions)
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. water
1 bunch leaf lettuce
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp. Combine egg, onion, sugar, salt, vinegar and water. Add to bacon and stir. Heat to boiling. Pour hot dressing over lettuce and toss.
