Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. tomato juice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. flour
4 c. milk
1 c. diced potatoes
Preparation

Melt butter or margarine in large saucepan.
Add onions, carrots and peppers.
Cook until onions and carrots are tender. Add beef; cook until crumbly.
Stir in juice, potatoes and seasonings.
Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
Mix flour with 1 cup of milk; beat until free of lumps.
Add to soup. Add rest of milk.
Heat and serve.
Serves 4.
