Avocados And Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. shrimp, cooked, shelled and deveined
    1 c. salad oil
    1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
    3/4 c. white wine vinegar
    1/2 c. celery, minced
    1/4 c. capers, undrained
    5 bay leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. pepper
    3 drops of hot pepper sauce
    lime juice
    lettuce leaves
Preparation
    Toss the
    shrimp
    with all ingredients, except the last three listed.
    Chill
    shrimp mixture for 24 hours.
    Remove bay leaves and
    strain
    shrimp
    mixture.
    Sprinkle
    diced avocados with lime juice.
    Add avocados to the strained shrimp mixture. Serve on lettuce lined plates.
    Serves 8.
