Quick Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. self-rising flour
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 c. warm water
    1 egg
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Stir in sugar and let set for a minute, then beat in remaining ingredients.
    Grease muffin pan. Fill half full with batter.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Makes 24.
    Batter will keep in refrigerator.
