Lemon Cake-Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine, cooled
    5 Tbsp. lemon juice
    grated rind of 1 lemon (1/4 c.)
    3 egg yolks, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour and butter. Add lemon juice, lemon rind, egg yolks and milk. Mix. Fold in egg whites.
    Pour into greased casserole (Pyrex).
    Bake in pan of hot water at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    When done, dessert will have custard on bottom and sponge cake on top.
    (Use whipped cream or Cool Whip on top when served, if you like.) Serves 8.
