Coffee Liqueur - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    4 c. sugar
    1 (2 oz.) jar instant coffee
    2 c. brandy
    1 large vanilla bean, chopped in thirds
Preparation
    Boil water and mix in sugar and coffee.
    Cool liquid and add brandy.
    Pour liquid into a jar.
    Drop in the vanilla bean.
    Seal and let it stand for at least 30 days.
