Skillet Bacon-Onion Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. tomato juice or milk
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 strip bacon, chopped
Preparation
    Combine eggs and tomato juice or milk in mixing bowl.
    Sift dry ingredients into bowl and beat until well blended.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot, well-greased skillet.
    Sprinkle top of each biscuit with chopped onion and bacon.
    Cook over moderate heat about 5 minutes until lightly browned on one side.
    Turn and brown other side.
    Makes 8 to 12.
