Date Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add remaining ingredients and chill.
Roll dough out (1/4-inch thick) and top with filling. Roll filling and dough up like jelly roll; chill.
Slice and bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
