Quick Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate or yellow cake mix
    14 oz. pkg. Kraft caramels
    1 stick margarine
    1 can evaporated milk
    chocolate chips (optional)
    pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Bake one cake mix according to package directions (your choice which flavor) in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    While cake is baking, melt 14 ounce package of caramels.
    Combine with 1 stick margarine and evaporated milk.
    When cake is done, pour caramel mixture on top. You may sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans if desired.
