Homemade Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
6 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
Add buttermilk and mix. Knead on floured surface.
Roll out to desired thickness and cut with biscuit cutter.
Brush tops with melted butter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
Makes 8 big biscuits.
