Barbecued Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 thick pork chops
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mustard
    1 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Trim all but a thin layer of fat from chops.
    Heat frying pan, then add chops.
    Brown chops on both sides quickly.
    Remove chops. Saute onions and bell pepper in drippings for 10 minutes or until tender.
    Drain off any fat.
    Add brown sugar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, mustard and water; mix well.
    Place chops in single layer in pan.
    Add tomato sauce around chops and cover pan.
    Simmer 45 to 60 minutes until tender.
    Place chops on heated platter.
    Skim fat from sauce and spoon sauce over chops.
    Serves 6.
