Pepper And Cabbage Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck green tomatoes
    2 heads cabbage
    1 c. salt
    1 gal. red and green peppers
    8 large onions
    2 qt. vinegar
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. pepper (black)
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Put tomatoes, cabbage and salt through food chopper.
    Place in a cloth bag and drain overnight.
    Next morning, put peppers and onions through chopper.
    Mix vinegar, brown sugar, cinnamon, black pepper and celery seed in large pot, then add all chopped vegetables and bring to a boil.
    Cook slowly for 30 minutes.
    Put in hot jars and seal.
