Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening, melted
Preparation

Mix together egg, milk and shortening.
Mix dry ingredients, add mixed liquids and beat until smooth.
Bake in 9-inch pan at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
