"Rocks" (Grandma Helen'S Christmas Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    5 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 c. dates
    2 c. raisins
    2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar.
    Add well beaten eggs.
    Sift flour, soda and cream
    of tartar.
    Add to mixture.
    Slightly flour fruit and add.
    Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until done (about 8 minutes).
