Angel Food Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. crushed pineapple
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. pineapple juice
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 egg whites
graham cracker pie shell
Preparation

Cook pineapple, juice, 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch in double boiler until very thick; stir constantly to prevent lumping. Remove from heat and cool.
Beat egg whites to a soft peak, adding 4 tablespoons sugar gradually.
Fold into cooled filling gently. Pour into graham cracker pie shell.
Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with coconut.
