Ingredients

2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. granulated sugar
??? c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine flour, salt and soda in a small bowl.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars.
Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
