Swiss Onion Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10-inch) pastry shell
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 lb. white onions, chopped
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1 c. heavy cream
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Over medium heat, saute onions in butter, slowly, until they are translucent and soft.
    Sprinkle flour over them, mix well and let cook a couple of minutes. Remove from heat and add egg yolks.
    Gradually stir in cream.
    Add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
    Pour into pastry shell.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until filling is firm.
