Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2/3 c. coarsely chopped nuts
2/3 c. raisins or cut up dates
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans or 3 (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch) loaf pans.
Cream eggs, shortening and sugar.
Mix in pumpkin and water.
Blend in spices and dry ingredients.
Stir in nuts and raisins and put in pans.
Bake 65 to 70 minutes until clean.
