Puerto Rican Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf Italian bread
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. raisins
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 gal. milk
    sugar to taste
Preparation
    Break bread into small pieces.
    In large bowl, add the milk to the bread.
    Let set for 2 hours.
    Add eggs, butter,
    vanilla, salt and sugar; beat with electric mixer until creamy.
    Add the raisins.
    Pour into a 12 x 10-inch buttered loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
