Fresh Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped pears
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Mix together pears, sugar and pecans.
    Set aside 1 hour, stirring often.
    Sift all dry ingredients. Add to pear mixture. Mix eggs and oil and stir
    in
    well with wooden spoon.
    Pour in 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
