Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking soda and salt.
    Set aside.
    In large bowl, cream butter until fluffy, then add sugar gradually.
    Beat until light.
    Beat in egg and vanilla until fluffy.
    Stir in flour mixture, chips and nuts until well mixed.
    Shape in 2-inch balls. Do not flatten.
    Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets (six per sheet).
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 23 minutes, until golden and edges are light brown.
