Herring Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) jar herring in cream, drained
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/3 c. ripe olives
    1/3 c. fresh parsley
    juice of half a lemon
Preparation
    Puree in processor.
    Put in crock, cover and chill.
    Serve on party rye.
    Garnish with chopped ripe olives and chopped hard-cooked egg.
