Cranberry Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cranberries or 1 (12 oz.) pkg.
    2 large apples (unpeeled), cored and sliced thin
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour, divided
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
    3/4 c. rolled oats (regular or quick)
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In large bowl, combine the cranberries, apples, sugar, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon flour.
    Transfer the mixture to a greased 6-cup shallow baking dish.
    In same bowl (no need to wash it), combine the remaining flour, brown sugar, oats and nuts, if desired.
    Stir in the melted butter.
    Mix the ingredients well (should be crumbly).
    Sprinkle the oat mixture over the fruit mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until the crisp is lightly brown.
    Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Serves 12.
