Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 pt. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. cold milk
Preparation
    Stir corn meal into (salted) boiling water.
    Stir for 1 minute and remove from the fire.
    Add butter; beat well.
    Add eggs and beat in the cold milk.
    Beat again and pour into buttered baking dish.
    Bake 25 minutes in hot oven (450\u00b0).
    Serve from baking dish.
