Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix together flour, salt, baking powder, sugar and baking soda.
    Cut in shortening.
    Stir in gently, the buttermilk.
    Knead for 2 minutes.
    Pat the dough to thickness of 1/4 inch.
    Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a 450\u00b0 oven.
