Challah Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 1/2 c. warm water
8 c. flour
2 pkg. dry yeast
Preparation

Put 4 eggs in mixing bowl; add 6 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 cups salad oil and 2 1/2 cups warm water.
Mix lightly.
Add 2 cups flour and 2 packages of dry yeast.
Stir and knead in about 6 cups flour.
Let rise until double.
Divide into thirds.
Divide each third in thirds.
Roll each third into rope on floured surface.
Braid.
Let rise until double in size.
Brush with one egg yolk, beaten with 1 teaspoon water.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
