Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. shredded coconut
Preparation

Sift sugar.
Beat egg whites with salt until stiff.
Very slowly, add sugar beating constantly.
Fold in vanilla and coconut.
Drop from teaspoon onto greased and floured cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
Remove quickly from pan. Makes 4 dozen.
