Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
4 c. peeled, diced apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; mix well.
Add dry ingredients and mix.
Batter will be stiff.
Stir in apples and nuts.
Pour into well buttered tube pan or 2 loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Let cake cool 30 minutes before removing from pan.
May use 13 x 9-inch pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
