Peanut Butter Crunch Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. water
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, combine eggs, sugar, water and tartar.
    Cook over boiling water for 7 minutes or until holds in peaks while beating constantly with rotary egg beater.
    Remove; beat until cool.
    Sprinkle with crushed peanut brittle over top of frosted cake.
