1 c. sugar
3/4 lb. butter
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1/4 c. jelly or preserves
Preparation

Blend together sugar and butter.
Add egg yolks and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping sides of bowl.
Stir in flour, one cup at a time, blending until stiff dough forms.
