Peanut Butter Temptations - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 (10 oz.) boxes peanut butter cups
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream butter, peanut butter and both sugars together.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Blend into creamed mixture to make a dough.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place into ungreased miniature muffin pans.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove pan from oven and press a peanut butter cup into center of each cookie until only the top of the cup shows.
Let cool for 10 minutes, then remove from muffin tin.
Store in airtight container.
Makes 80 cookies.
