Joanie'S Pizzelles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 (1 doz.) eggs
3 1/2 c. sugar
4 sticks oleo, melted
2 tsp. pure anise oil
6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. whiskey
Preparation

Beat eggs well, gradually add sugar and beat.
Add oleo and beat until smooth.
Add anise oil, a few drops at a time, mixing well.
Add flour slowly, mixing well.
Add salt and whiskey, blending well.
Refrigerate batter several hours.
(If desired, batter can be refrigerated overnight or several days to enrich flavor.)
Bake in a pizzelle baker.
