Pumpkin Date Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
2 1/3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. dates, cut up
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar gradually.
Add eggs; beat well.
Blend in water, pumpkin and sifted dry ingredients.
Fold in pecans and dates.
Pour into 2 greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pans. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
