Mississippi Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1 (9-inch) pastry
1 c. Karo corn syrup
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
1 c. pecans, coarsely broken
Preparation

Boil syrup and sugar together for 2 minutes; cool. Pour slowly over eggs, beating constantly. Add butter, vanilla and nuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) about 45 minutes or until done.
