Chocolate Chip Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter, softened
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat oven to
    375\u00b0.
    Mix
    margarine,
    sugars
    and
    egg. Stir in flour (dough
    will be stiff).
    Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
    Press dough
    in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch rectangular pan. Bake
    until
    golden
    brown about 25 minutes; cool. Cut into bars. Yields about 24 bars.
