Peach Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter, softened
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. peaches (generous)
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Spray a 4-quart pan.
    Cream 1 cup sugar and butter.
    Add milk, flour and baking powder.
    Stir together and pour in pan.
    Add peeled, sliced peaches on top.
    Dot with additional butter. Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over.
    Pour boiling water over mixture.
    Do not stir!
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes.
    Set pan on cookie sheet or foil in oven.
