Ruby Plylers Apple Jack Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups plain flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 cup shortening
    6 tbsp. cold water
    cooked apples
Preparation
    Roll out dough, cut biscuit size, seal edges with water. Place cooked apples in center and fold over and seal with fork. Fry in oil, about 1 inch in skillet, turn over and fry until brown.
