Ingredients

4 medium potatoes
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 rounded Tbsp. flour
1 medium onion, grated
Preparation

Wash and peel potatoes.
Grate potatoes.
Add beaten egg, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Add flour and onion and mix again.
Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of mixture onto hot griddle or frying pan, greased with oil or shortening.
Makes approximately 12 pancakes. Serve with sour cream or applesauce.
