Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 lb. plus 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk, divided
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. pecans, broken
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan or tube pan.
    In a small bowl, combine flour and baking powder; set aside.
    In a large bowl, with electric mixer at high speed, cream butter and brown sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    At low speed, alternately add flour mixture and 1 cup milk until well-blended.
    Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
    Remove pan to wire rack; cool 15 minutes. Remove cake from pan; cool completely.
