Cinnamon Apple Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 beaten egg
    3/4 c. milk
    1/3 c. oil or melted shortening
    1 c. chopped apples
Preparation
    Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Combine egg, milk and oil.
    Add all at once along with apples to dry ingredients.
    Stir until dry ingredients are moist.
    Do not overmix.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    While warm, dip the top in margarine and then into sugar.
    Makes 12 muffins.
