Yeast Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    6 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 3/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup water.
    Sift dry ingredients into large bowl, add shortening,
    yeast mixture and water.
    Mix and knead for 10 minutes.
    Put to rise in a warm place.
    In 1 hour punch down.
    Let rise another hour and make loaves, rolls, etc. and place in greased pans.
    Let rise till double in size and bake at 375 -425\u00b0 depending on size of bread.
